voice.VoxErth is a call to musicians, writers, artists and fans to help create media that is a voice (vox) for our exquisite biosphere.Ways to join VoxErth:: 1/ If you are a songwriter, artist or writer, team up with us (or others) to create media about an eco issue that concerns you, and then use it to occupy the street and beyond. Post your work on the VoxErth blog. 2/ If you are a fan, ask us (or other) musicians, artists or writers to create media about eco issues that you care about. Sponsor a project if you can. Team up via our VoxErth blog. 3/ Pledge to create, promote or support an eco media project. Print and sign the VoxErth pledge/ member card, and give pledge cards to others. 4/ Also connect via VoxErth Facebook and the Newsletter.  nexus.Using art, photography, media and music to talk about specific eco actions and the positive effects is now crucial.
For example, weaving words into a painting or photograph that call on its audience to take a specific environmental action can be a beautiful part of the art -- and therefore -- can be even more motivating that the same words on a white printed page!Simply hinting to one's audience "it would be kinda nice for us -- and you -- to do something to solve this environmental situation" is now not enough. VoxErth's main mission is encourage artists to illustrate the positive effects of specific environmental actions on one or more beings -- human or non-human -- in order to cheer on the people to take those eco actions. For another example, the positive effects of an eco action might be on in lives of some future child, group of friends, a little family of animals or two human lovers. Just as many human related love songs do, let's use our artistic talents to get down to the positive nitty gritty ecological cause and effect of an ecological action. ~~~~~~~~~ Weaving an organization's name or website address into one's art, music or media is another way to power it up. Some creatives may think this is tough, but please give it a try. Let's help those who want to help the planet find their team. music.One of VoxErth's goals is to help build a *ecological music revolution* with fans, writers, organizations, and musicians world wide that come together to create a storm of environmental songs for the Earth.One way everyone can join is to team up with the 140 Hit Songs for the Planet project being run by VoxErth's director Stele Ely. Check it out. "Musicians have the power to replace the deadly corporate consumeristic mantras with loving, Earth conscious mantras. Therefore, every musician is called to weave at least two or three environmental songs for the Earth into each performance or EP." Stele 
All Music Fans: Appeal to your favorite local and national musicians to create and perform Earth conscious music. Write, email and talk to your favorite musician about the importance of writing and performing environmental songs.Give your favorite musicians an update on an issue that you would like them to compose and perform an environmental song for. All Musicians: Contact a local or national enviro group to find out what issues they would like more songs about. Compose and sing about ecological issues you care about. Create an EP/CD to benefit the organization, for someone you love, and for the millions life forms that celebrate life. Create your own environmental songs and fire-up your music career. Your enviro music even could be a great media hook in conjunction with your EP, CD, future gigs or on the web. All Songwriters, Poets and Writers: Write the lyrics and/or music for a song that you pitch to your favorite musicians. Send out offers to co-write with other environmentally concerned writers. Create Earth conscious lyrics that encourage others to take specific actions that help protect the billions of life-forms that are celebrating life. Let's drown out the mega-media materialistic corporate advertising slogans that are defiling the planet. All Environmental Organizations: Contact your favorite musicians to ask them to write and record environmental songs, ballads and media that will help jazz-up your campaigns. Lovers Of The Earth: Contribute your talents and financial resources to the *ecological music revolution* for the sake of all the life forms that are loving life. An Ecological Music Revolution [emr] by Stele Ely at 140 Hit Songs For The Planet This is not to say that every musician should become known as an environmental activist. But it is to say, if the deadly corporate consumeristic mantras being repeated by the average citizen are ever to be replaced with pro-active, loving, Earth conscious mantras, then every musician who cares about the planet needs to have at least three or four songs in their repertoire that reflects their perspective. Before technology and mass marketing came along, it was not critical that musicians with an environmental conscious take an environmental stand. It is very different now. Millions of corporation's are getting many of us to sing: "buy your way to happiness" ... "material items will set you free" ... "consume more: forget the planet" ... "buy junk now: ignore the ecological results"... "ultra disposable items will set you free". All the while, these same individuals seldom hear music to sing along with that honors the Earth and its life. One great eco song, ballad, CD or media project has the potential to save your life plus a few million other living things. Music Fans, Songwriters, Musicians and Writers have the power to manifest this *ecological music revolution*. So join the *140 Love Songs for the Planet* project today.
future.Future art, poetry, stories and songs are cause-and-effect journeys that describe a series of positive events that may happen as a result of an eco action that someone takes.Whether the focus is on one or numerous simultaneous or sequential results of an eco action is up to the artist, writer or songwriter. It is also called an EarthE future because our *EarthE Honors* project uses these scenarios to honor and reward people for their environmental choices. See EarthE.org. 
By the way, advertisers often propose ultra-absurd cause and effect tales that would never happen if a person buys a product. Yet these ads sell a lot of junk. Other great art, words, songs and movies have used this format. So let's create realistic and possible eco scenarios that help trigger eco actions.Once you have completed your cause and effect, domino effect and/or butterfly effect future story that will help save our biosphere, add a link to your work on our VoxErth Facebook page. Musicians are also invited to add their future songs to our VoxErth.net blog and open mic.
edu.VoxErth is a good way for adults, students, teachers and kids to work together for the planet, to promote school spirit, to support peace, and raise money for environmental clubs.Music, art, photography and media students are invited to create designs, stories, environmental songs and video for VoxErth's Facebook and Flick'r pages. The coolest ideas will be added here on the VoxErth home page. Contact us for club and school materials, or if you would like us to come speak to your group. But musicians, artists and fans worldwide can help turn this around with some great songs and music videos.
